In Dutch colonial era of 18Th century, Another woman for 'Emancipation' namely Raden Adjeng Kartini, the Mistress of Jepara Regent (=Bhupati), had revitalized the carving heritage by ordering a group of Craftsmen (Undhagi and Pawukir) to make furniture for Her.(=some of the pieces is displayed in the Museum 'R.A. Kartini", Jepara town).
